The Story

The annual Dallas Strong Hockey Game started a year after the tragic events of July 7, 2016, when Dallas lost five of its officers. The idea of the game came to be as a way to support local first responders who were in need and also bring the community together.

The first game was held on July 15, 2017, at the Farmers Branch Dr Pepper StarCenter. With the inaugural game’s attendance of approximately 1000, the community guaranteed the future of the Dallas Strong Hockey Game.
